lovely and amazing
Playing catch-up with my podcasts is always fun. I don’t know what it is, but I find the voices of both Ira Glass and Bob Boilen to be extremely comforting, almost like friends. Listening to the latest podcast for All Songs Considered, I have discovered a new love, and they go by the name AU. Extremely whimsical yet melodic, you never seem to know where this band is going to take you! I love it. I was walking in the rain and I have to admit, thirty seconds into the song RR vs D and I was hooked. Suddenly the grey skies looked a little apologetic and my face just couldn’t stop smiling. I was in Kerrisdale, so I must’ve looked out of place, to say the least.
Actually, I totally suggest you listen to that entire podcast (titled A Great Unknowns Showcase) because there are quite a few excellent tracks: Port O’Brien, Okay, Amber Rubarth, etc…
Whatever to make this weekend come sooner (have you seen the weather report? 25 degrees? What?)
